Gina,(or trina or susan etc.) gave them this # last night at the bar, and could I please put them in touch with her. Only with the most persistant have I had to say "DUDE! she gave you a bogus number! it just happens to match mine!"<BR/><BR/>Mrs NehemiahAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-72874572786765863.post-24186802493424709632008-05-07T08:10:00.000-07:002008-05-07T08:10:00.000-07:00My in-laws had an 867-5309 ph#. So.....we get a gazillion calls from folks who think they have to "dial a 9" to get an outside line and then dial 1 followed by the area code and then any number that begins with the last two digits of our number. This is especially frequent with fax machines that are set up incorrectly. It took me several YEARS of fax machines calling me (repeatedly - when the faxes don't go through they usually think there was just a transmission problem and will try over and over and over again) and wrong numbers to figure out what was happening. In fact, I think I need to blog about this fun myself.Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17392927256989287274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-72874572786765863.post-47436005839527836612008-05-06T22:18:00.000-07:002008-05-06T22:18:00.000-07:00One time we ended up getting the number of a woman...One time we ended up getting the number of a woman that had a boyfriend in prison. He would call collect all the time. I would not answer but then I would get messages on my answering machine with things like "Baby please pick up". It was so frustrating and annoying. I was so glad that we did not live in that area long and did not have to keep the number for very long.Awesome Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03523320907836876707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-72874572786765863.post-85633112698776267022008-05-06T22:00:00.000-07:002008-05-06T22:00:00.000-07:00We had this happen when we were given the number o...We had this happen when we were given the number of a former pie shop! we had pie orders left on the machine all the time!!<BR/>blessings, <BR/>kari & kijsakari and kijsahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01047434064728375340noreply@blogger.com
